DIY Easter Eggs – part 2 – free download

It´s time to wish you all a Happy Easter – and time again to share my free download with DIY Easter Eggs & Rabbits. They are made with some of my repeat patterns and are super simple to make.
Print them out on thick A4 paper – cut them out and mix & match. Glue 2 eggs together with a piece of sewing tread in the middle – or make a string of eggs – et voila! The rabbits are a bit more tricky – so I´ve made a front and back version of them. Cut the front first – glue it to the back of the rabbit and cut the back afterwards.

Envelop – illustrated cotton goodies

For a while I´ve had my eyes on Envelop – a Belgium company that produces made-to-order textile products. And with their new & awesome selection of graphic prints from illustrators around the world – it´s time to share! I tried to select a few of my favorites here – but have a look yourself in their shop if you are looking for unique and cool designed textiles . And if you are a designer or illustrator – you can design and sell your own textiles via their online store.

Poppy-print til silketørklæder

Design af Valmueprint til silketørklæde og kalender – autumn 2008. Tørklædet er designet forKræftens Bekæmpelse – og sælges via webshop til medlemmer. Når man som her designer næsten en sæson frem – er det altid spændende og se om man “har ramt” sæsones farver og stil som vist i dette moodboard.

Spagat designede kampagnemotivet til Kræftens Bekæmpelses “Støt Brysterne”-kampagne i 2007. Det var vigtigt for mig at få lidt humor og lune ind i designet, da det er et følsomt emne. 1 ud af 9 kvinder rammes af brystkræft. Så designet forestiller ni par bryster i diverse størrelser, farver og former – og ja, i det niende par mangler der altså et bryst! For sådan husker jeg min mormor – der levede lykkeligt i mange år med bare ét bryst. Motivet er designet så det fungerer både som enkelt motiv og som repeat pattern – og blev anvendt på alt lige fra gummistøvler, t-shirts og kaffekopper.
