What I did …
It’s been oh so quiet on the blog lately – and I miss blogging on a more regular basis. But the months and weeks since summer have been super busy with 1. Making an e-magazine with the new students at Teko in Aarhus. 2. Teaching a lot at Teko in Herning this time around in Identity design, Typography, Colours, Paper and Illustrator. 3. Small trips to Hamburg and Palma – both great cities I plan to explore more in the future. 4. Enjoying a sunny and colourful autumn. I’ve spent so little time in my design studio this autumn – that I’ve decided to let go of my studio space and work from home for a while and see what the future brings. Because sometimes you have to close a door before a new door opens.
Time to get back on the blogging track – after a very relaxing summer holiday. I kind of shut down both the studio and my brains for the holidays – and just spent the days with sweet doing nothing and some healthy cooking. I changed my diet and eat a lot cleaner now with low carb and high fat – and lost 5 kg so far – what’s not to like.!?? I’m now back at the studio working combined with some more teaching – love this mix. Hope you all had a great summer and have returned just as relaxed as I have – see you!
Here’s a glimpse from my studio - where I’m busy getting ready to relax in 2 weeks time! I always create small moodboards of what inspires me at the moment. Here’s some Etsy finds, a colour sample and my favorite quote set in a handmade font by pasta in the shape of letters – made by my friend. Also I’m putting the final touches on our next issue of Blogish! So stay tuned if you are not already on holidays.
In the new issue of Boligmagsinet you can get a glimpse of our studio – as part of a photoshoot from my studio partner Line’s home. The studio is located in this old and crooked house – but flooded with light. We have decorated it with the help of Line’s handy husband and our creativity – and I just love spending my workdays here. We share the kitchen and meeting area shown here – and my design studio is located on the level above. In the beginning of 2013 we also opened our doors to Line’s business partner and her assistent. So to create some extra space Line is having a sale this weekend. Her first and only sale – with great discounts – for more information look here.
P.S I will not be at the studio during the sale :)

My holidays start now – and I wish you all Happy Holidays a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2013. See you!

We are hosting a small Pop-UP Christmas market in our studio in Mejlgade 16B, 8000 Århus C. Feel free to pop by!
I feel like playing with the steps going up to my designstudio – and these are some of my favorite ideas from my Pinterest board. Which one is your favorite? Unfortunately there’s not enough space for a slider solution :)
Here are a some fresh snapshots of my studio today – it’s slowly coming together – and the light here is so amazing. I love having my own space – and to turn up the music now and then – I also listen to tons of podcast while working – so please share if you have any recommendations!? The next 3 weeks I’ll spend some days away from the studio while teaching Identity Design at Teko in Herning – and I’m exited to meet the students and to teach again. Also I’m currently working on 3 identity designs for clients, so there´s a great synergy to things which I love.
Blogish! e-magazine is out
Today our secret project went online. It’s an E-magazine created by my group of Danish blogger friends – and designed by me. It´s been a lot of fun and we love to see how fast the word spreads online. You can find the e-mag right here – and our Facebook page here. I’ve always known that blogging is great, but I’d never imagined that it would lead to so many wonderful friendships, with persons I never would have met IRL. So please share it with your own online friends! It´s in Danish only though – but give it a try and enjoy the free downloads inside.
