Moodboard – New studio
I´m impatiently waiting for Line to come back from her holidays – so that we can start planning our new studio space. While waiting I´ve been collecting lots of inspiration and putting together some moodboards. So for the next weeks to come I´ll post about stuff related to interiors and offices spaces – so stay tuned – I might also need your advice! I love the prints, patterns and textures above – and how a white room really make the colours pop. Photo 1. Desire to Inspire, 2. Muuni 3. Designsponge 4. unknown. Have a lovely weekend!
Two of a kind
Kelims are hot -again -in case you haven´t noticed – and so is this loft from New York! I love when photos just make a perfect match like here – both are via the always inspiring Milk Magazine.
Senior & Junior Christmas Stylist
I´m working from home these days – so why not share a glimpse of our Christmas decorations this year. My junior stylist has spend hours decorating our Christmas tree from Filigrantræ – and proposes a very fresh & fun color scheme – while the senior stylist has played it down and safe this year – the perfect match!
New Year, New Studio
Friday was a BIG day for Line and I – we signed the contract for our new studio in the old center of Aarhus. I´m soo excited and have already spent a lot of time making moodboards and researching new furniture. Here´s a small sneak peak of the space decorated in Photoshop with some of my ideas. This space gives us so many possibilities – and a fresh new start – we loved our old studio but also needed to move on. Don´t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great!
Hvis du er interesseret i at leje “vores” skønne gamle baghus på Kærlighedsstien – så send mig en mail på sidselsnabelaspagat.dk, så sender jeg den videre til udlejeren. Lejemålet er ledigt pr. 1.2 2010
Weekend Finds
I just wish to share this amazing weekend getaway from the november issue of Elle Decoration UK – I could easily see myself spending a relaxing weekend here, if it wasn´t for the fact that it´s situated in Connecticut. If you also live closer to Aarhus – I can recommend that you visit a nice Christmas Market tomorrow at this farm near Hammel – where you can buy lots of goodies to eat – or to decorate with – including my plexiglas designs, Christmas cards and jewelry. I wish you all a relaxing weekend! Photo by Gaelle Le Boulicaut
Wanted: New Studio
As much as we love our current studio – we have started the search for something a little bit bigger and brighter. My wishlist looks something like this – so if you know a place like this in the center of Aarhus – PLEASE let us know! And as you can see I´m quite obsessed with big tables and benches at the moment. Top photos are from the november issue of Rum – the others have been sitting in my inspiration folder for so long I can´t remember where I found them.
Triangle Trend
Probably you´ve also spotted this trend with triangles all over. I´ve collected some of my favorites here. Jewelry from Spoonful of mint, Scarf & wollen pillow by Sen-Sen, Notebook via Stilleben, and pillow & wollen blanket by Ferm Living.

New rug & new wishes
Ever since I´ve posted about this lovely flat – I´ve been looking for a nice ethnic kilim inspired rug for our flat – and today was my lucky day! I visited The Vic Shop here in Aarhus and bought the beaty above right away. I also would have liked to take all of the Tom Dixon designs above home with me – especially the wooden dinning table and bench. So I´ve better get back to work now and start saving! Take a tour around The Vic Shop here – and have a lovely Halloween weekend!
Just dreaming
I´ve just noticed that this flat is for sale here in Århus – so I´m just daydreaming a little this morning – because I could move right in without changing a single thing – apart from my income :) The flat even has a roof top terrace, a bath tub and a gas stove – so what more can you ask for? and what makes you daydream? Update: I just found the link from when the flat was featured in Bo Bedre. Photos by Bjarni B. Jacobsen.
Working from my dinning table
I´m currently working from my dinning table – due to all the deadlines in my designstudio. Working from home makes it a little more pleasent to work day and night for a while. So here are a few photos of lovely and inspiring dinning tables from my inspiration folder – hope they will inspire you too! I´m trying to find out where the photos are from – the top photo is from Rum magazine, for the second I need help – maybe from Decor8?. The last photo is from this home shot by Katrine Martensen-Larsen via Stylefiles
