Nordic Knit – Pillow love

Autumn has arrived here in Denmark – and it´s time to spend more time indoors and time to cozy up your home with blankets and candles – and maybe also with these lovely knitted pillows in wool. They are named New Nordic Knit and are designed by Sen-Sen, and can be found in their webshop soon. I immediately spotted these pillows when I looked at photos from the trendzones at Formland this summer. You can catch a glimpse of the trendzones at The Sweet Spot who also is behind the photo above, from the trendzone House of Happiness, created by Eckmann Alive Studio. I love the colours and the materials used. I´m a little slow when it comes to blogging these days – due to busy days at the studio – so please visit Spagat´s Facebook page – where I share bits and pieces on a more regular basis right now.

Going Out – for inspiration!

Lately I´ve spent way too many nights working – so I´m looking forward to going out tonight to get some new inspiration at the Vic Shop here in Aarhus. I´ll soak up some of the news in interiors & fashion – plus spend time with a lovely blogger friend, drink champagne, and listen to some great music. “My boss” prescribed that I have some fun after working so hard! Sounds like a perfect plan to me – maybe I´ll see you there?

Back at the studio

Hello there – I´m back again at work with tons of deadlines and a cold! But my summerholidays were great and full of sweet doing nothing. The photo is one of the results from our recent photoshoot and I´m so pleased with it. The photographer behind is the talented Ida Schmidt & and the makeup is by Ditte Cramon. It´s so nice to have an updated profile picture again – and I love how she captured the light in my designstudio.

Line’s summerhouse in Boligliv

This month you have a chance to visit my studiomate Line´s summerhouse in the latest issue of Boligliv. I still haven´t seen Lines summerhouse in real life – and vice versa – so I enjoyed the photos – and I´m sure you will too. Line has a great sense of style, colour and detail and a very handy man. And with joined forces they have transformed both their home and summerhouse to spaces full of personality and great DIY projects. Also your new studio has profitted by their talents! My Orange Wish List

My current orange colour crush is adding these items to my wish list! The striped dress is from H&M and the rest is from the nice Dutch webshop Wannekes. Well in fact the wonderfull striped pillows have been on my wishlist for ages – with the rest of the products designed by the Dutch design duo Scholten & Baijings. And the cute nesting dolls Circus by Swedish illustrator Ingela P. Arrhenius makes me wish that I had a toddler in the house.

Current Colour Crush

I´m so into Pinterest at the moment – it´s the perfect place to collect eye candy – and to keep track of your new finds. And it´s been quite surprising to discover that I´m liking a lot of orange tones at the moment – since it used to be one of my least favorite colours. But combined with grey, chalk and sand colours – it´s just a perfect combination – don´t you think?

Sneak Peek of our new designstudio

Here´s a small sneak peek of our new studio – which doesn´t feel so new anymore. Everything is almost in place now - we just need a new meeting/dinning table and some lamps. It´s so bright and cosy – and we love spending our workday there - and ‘unfortunately’ ít´s located next to a great organic bakery – and some delicious Italian sandwiches…

Inside/Outside the Studio

Here´s a little sneak peak of our new studio. Inside we are slowly slowly getting all the interior stuff done. Outside the historical buildings in our backyard look great with the snow. But the wet snow looks so bad on our white painted floors – but we love it here – hope you can tell why.

New studio – new address

Since monday I´ve been working from my new studio – and I just love beeing here. It´s so bright, cozy and spacious. We even have a small harbour view and birds in the backyard - and I´m so happy!
