Current Colour Crush

At the moment I’m completely smitten with the colours and details in Julia Rofman’s handwoven beaded bracelets.  I’m just learning how to use a bead loom -  but not sure I have the patience to add the last finishing touches like tassel ends and silver claps – so I’m also adding Julia’s creations to my wishlist – just in case!

Magazine design Workshop

I’m currently teaching a group of nine wonderful and enthusiastic girls the fine art of magazine design. Here´s a peek at the magazine moodboard workshop I taught at my studio last week. Moodboards are such a great way  to kick off a creative process – and the girls came up with some promising results. I’m enjoying this teaching experience so much – and look forward to see their final results. Brand New Year

There’s always something magic about starting a brand new year – and a brand new calender. I´m still not all digital when it comes to calenders – so 2012 will be  yellow! I’ll start 2012 by teaching a course in Magazine Design for a small group of students at Teko – and I’m very exited about this new opportunity. I think juggling teaching & running my Designstudio will be both fun and educating.

My Christmas Holiday

My Christmas holiday is coming up real soon – and I imagine it will look a little like the above – this year. I always do a little photo research before visiting new places – and this year I found the photos here via Pinterest – you can find them here. I really can´t wait to see the North of Thailand and to see a tiger in close-up – and to spend the last week at the beach – swimming and relaxing.

Ohhhh these silk scarfs by french design duo Milleneufcentquatrevingtquatre – makes my heart beat a little bit faster. I can totally see myself wearing one of their pieces! I´m getting in the mood for decoration for Christmas – and so is my daughter!  I think we will start decorating a little bit this weekend – since she has been begging for this for 2 weeks now.
