Room for my Schoolgirl

We recently upgraded my daughters room to a Room for a Schoolgirl – now that she is 8 years old. Her room is quite small – and as she grows her collection of stuff grows even more!!! – so I’m constantly on the outlook for clever storage solutions for small spaces. I will keep posting the images I find to my Room for my Schoolgirl board on Pinterest. All images above can be found in my board – but are originally from here.: Frames Wallpaper by Graham & Brown. DIY Ikea bed on kitchen units – via Ikea Family Live. Very clean and very tidy room – for inspiration only :) via Trendey.com. And a great gallery wall in a childs room by Hustler of Culture. I´m planning step by step to incorporate some of these ideas into her room. Here at Kenziepoo you can see what her room looked like some years ago.

New Flavours

I stopped smoking – again - and ever since I´ve been a little obsessed with food, coffee, cookies and liquorice ( and I´ve also been a little bit grumpy! ) Well my new found interest in food was a great occasion to finally get hold of The Flavour Thesaurus, which have been on my wishlist for a while – both because of the beautiful cover and it´s guide to combining flavours. Can´t wait to discover new flavours – my old favorites so far are; avocado & mayo, toast & butter, strawberries & cream, pear & goatchese – what´s your favorite combo?

HangArounds in Alt for Damerne

My easter bunnies are featured in Alt for Damerne this week – unfortunately they are sold out in white – but you can find lots of other designs in my shop! Last shipping date before easter is the 4th of April.

I denne uge er mine påske kaniner vist i Alt for Damerne – desværre er de allerede udsolgt i hvid – men der er masser af andet fint plexipynt at vælge imellem i min shop. Jeg sender fra dag til dag og shoppen er åben for påskebestillinger frem til 4. april kl. 14!

Cupcake Workshop

Some weeks ago my daughter and I spend a lovely afternoon at Cupcakefabrikken here in Århus. We attended a workshop, where the freshly baked cupcakes were ready to be decorated with fondant and frosting in all the colours of the rainbow – combined with all sorts of decoration and eatable glitter. Since I hate baking I thought this was the perfect way to “bake something” with my daughter and we had a lot of fun as you can tell from our results. I highly recommend a workshop at Cupcakefabrikken if you live near Aarhus – and the cakes were off course not only pretty but also very delicious – and sweet!
