Senior & Junior Christmas Stylist
I´m working from home these days – so why not share a glimpse of our Christmas decorations this year. My junior stylist has spend hours decorating our Christmas tree from Filigrantræ – and proposes a very fresh & fun color scheme – while the senior stylist has played it down and safe this year – the perfect match!
New Year, New Studio
Friday was a BIG day for Line and I – we signed the contract for our new studio in the old center of Aarhus. I´m soo excited and have already spent a lot of time making moodboards and researching new furniture. Here´s a small sneak peak of the space decorated in Photoshop with some of my ideas. This space gives us so many possibilities – and a fresh new start – we loved our old studio but also needed to move on. Don´t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great!

Another illustration published
This week you can find another illustration by me in Alt for Damerne. The article is a great guide to learning if you are truely hungry or just eating for other reasons. Apparently you are hungry if you feel like eating a piece of whole grain bread or ryebread with cucumber or tomato – but not a piece of white bread with butter! Good thing to know – before or after - you eat your way through the Christmas Holidays!
Weekend Finds
I just wish to share this amazing weekend getaway from the november issue of Elle Decoration UK – I could easily see myself spending a relaxing weekend here, if it wasn´t for the fact that it´s situated in Connecticut. If you also live closer to Aarhus – I can recommend that you visit a nice Christmas Market tomorrow at this farm near Hammel – where you can buy lots of goodies to eat – or to decorate with – including my plexiglas designs, Christmas cards and jewelry. Stay warm – Look Cool
I´m currently adding the final touch to a webshop design I´ve been working on. And this involves some research, lots of temptations and inspiration – I´ve picked some looks I would happily wear right now to stay warm and look cool – and I´m now the happy owner of the Poncho on the second photo. Christmas Cards in the Shop
I´ve just updated my shop with my Christmas cards. They come in a set of 5 double cards with 5 lovely white transparent envelopes. 16 x 16 cm. Artist Clare Woods
Some weeks ago I went to Arken artmuseum, to hear a trendtalk by trendguru Li Edelkoort, which I will tell you much more about some other time! At Arken I discovered the works of British artist Clare Woods, since her artwork above Rock of the Night, hangs there measuring thirty-six feet in length! It´s painted with enamel on aluminium – and it´s amazing and have really stuck with me. Her images are transcribed from photographs, taken by her after dark in areas of deep woodland, you can see more works here.
Smells like December
It sure smells and looks like december all around me – I love this month, the lights, the smells, and the little secrets – but also the fact that when December starts to get really busy and hectic we are leaving it all behind for some sun and beachlife. We will celebrate Christsmas in Cambodia this year and New Years Eve in Thailand – but for now I just enjoy December in Denmark.
